![]() was it was gobbling 72 mcu clocks in its loop, the pure assembler version takes only 9 clocks giving a maximum sine wave frequency output of just over 10KHz(brill), with my compiler I was struggling to get 2KHz with 8 bit res.dac. Anyway, I did get my project working using the attiny4313 and V5.1(takes forever to load, so slow to use it), basically I'm trying to make a programmable dds, at first, I used my compiler and I had it working more or less straight away, the problem. I do have version 4 installed on my computer but unfortunately it does not support my target chip which I was using, it is a attiny4313, only 5.1 and above supports it.However, not to get mixed up, v4.1 does support the attiny2313, dunno? go figure. Well, I thought it was just me but it seems 5.1 is hated throughout.
